The Levi’s Fenom range has gathered a significant amount of interest and the new preview pictures are bound to create further buzz for the collection. The new preview pictures show a black denim with purple highlights and an indigo denim with neon green highlights. The attention to detail and interesting features come together to make a quality denim.
So by now every sneaker head, Kanye fan and hypebeast has seen/heard/tasted/smelt/touched/bought their first pair of Air Yeezy. Now comes the interesting part to see who wears it with what and what people are doing with them. Premium Goods have released their Air Yeezy t-shirt (limited of course) to customers. They are only available by raffle and one raffle ticket gets your three chances, one for each colorway. What better way of saying I love Kanye by wearing his shoes your your feet and pictures of the same shoe on your t-shirt.
Visvim’s native American influences run strong in their Red Cloud t-shirt. The motif covering this t-shirt is inspired by Red Cloud, a Native American warrior.
The backpocket t-shirt is an interesting addition. It features a flannel flap/back pocket. I’m not sure what you would put in this pocket but its is quite interesting.
The guys at Foreign Family are having another competition. This time the project is to design a tattoo for a female figure. Check it out here.

Western Edition and Raw have collaborated to present Marvin Gaye – 25 Years Later. The collaboration has created a t-shirt, beanie and matching skate deck. The design features a portrait of the late and great Marvin Gaye wearing the Beanie that is part of the collection on a backdrop of red, grey and blue lines.
The great thing about a store built around a particular concept is that it allows the creative heads to come up with new and innovative packaging and marketing strategies. Bodega’s canned t-shirt is an excellent example of this. The t-shirts are limited to 100 pieces and will be available at their store on April 4.

My favorite quote from the interview is on the status of the streetwear scene:
“…whats state of streetwear, it’s a god damn state of emergency with all this booboo going around and everyone acting so famous. People need to calm down and realize they aren’t that sick. Some people need to run more of a business instead of trying to be cool. Streetwear is dead.”
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Nike Sportswear is creating some of the nicest technical pieces. The M-65 returns this year in packable form. This makes it perfect for those who travel frequently. It comes with all of the same features from before and is available in three colorways (grey, yellow and blue).
Bobby Hundreds has given us a sneak peek at what to expect for their Summer range. Thrilla Gorilla makes a triumphant return and Dave Choe chips in with his signature whale character. Looking good so far, can’t wait to see what the rest of the season will look like.
There’s a right and wrong way of doing multiple bright colors. Day-glo all over prints are the wrong way but Pegleg’s Spring 2009 collection is the right way. There’s nothing complicated about the designs here. Simple stripes and a good eye for colors have made the items in this collection something you can go to for that little burst of color.
